Theresa Sherman

Theresa Sherman has been in the Financial Services industry overseeing Wealth Management firms for
over 18 years, joining Mike Amine, the Managing Partner of Wealth Strategies Financial Group as the Director
of Operations in 2016. Holding a Series 7 and Series 66 registration, coupled with her hands-on industry
experience, Theresa is able to ensure superior support in the practice development of Financial
Professionals’ businesses. She is also responsible for managing client services, recruitment of new talent,
and a myriad of operational systems.

As a Financial Advisor and Director of Operations, Theresa is regularly called upon to educate other
Financial Professionals, small business owners and leadership groups on practice development strategies.
She manages “Business U.” a course designed for successful business owners needing to refresh their
understanding of key business financial concepts. She also spearheads “Women Empowering Women,” a
female networking group bringing female Financial Professionals and entrepreneurs together for
motivation, mentorship, and professional development. Theresa is a member of WISE (Women’s
Interactive Sales Exchange), a supportive environment where female financial professionals collaborate
and help each other reach their full potential through education, idea sharing and mentoring.

Theresa has been honored with invitations to join and is an active member in “100 Women Who Care,
Troy,” a group of local women who have a positive impact on the lives of those in need in the Troy
community. Theresa is also a member and volunteer in Troy School District’s Parent Committee. In 2022,
Theresa joined Troy Family Daze as the Board Secretary. Troy Family Daze is a committee that host the
annual Troy Family Daze Festival. The proceeds from this event supports the Troy Community Foundation
grants.

Theresa planted her roots in Troy, MI to raise her family with her husband Peter and her two daughters.
Outside of work she enjoys boating and spending time at the family cottage.
